Orders: | Orders shipped UPS will be processed within 2 working days. Orders shipped via Gen Serv or Common Carrier will be shipped within 3 to 5 working days. Non Stock orders will be processed within 7 to 14 working days, unless specified differently by the supplier. We request one hour notice for processing of customer pick-up orders. Special Order items require a 20% deposit, Non-Refundable if order is not picked up or is canceled. Orders of $300.00 or more entitle the customer to free delivery by Gen Serv Truck. This applies to Philadelphia Metro Area, Northern Delaware and Southern New Jersey. Please inquire for freight policy outside these geographic areas. Local Delivery Minimum $100.00 ex. Vineland and Surrounding Communities. A minimum order for billing purposes is $25.00. Any order under the minimum will be charged a $5.00 service charge. All shipping charges will be billed to customer for UPS or Common Carrier shipments. There is a $2.50 handling charge on all parts orders in addition to shipping charges. Products prone to freezing that are shipped UPS or Common Carrier, during the winter months, will be shipped Monday through Wednesday to avoid damage. All shipments of Corrosive chemicals, outside of Gen Serv's delivery area, will be shipped by Common Carrier. All prices are subject to change without notice. |
Returned Orders: | Supplies purchased may be returned within ten working days with receipt. All supplies must be in the same condition as when shipped or picked up. Damaged or open products cannot be returned. A 20% Re-Stocking charge will be applied to returned items. CHEMICALS CAN NOT BE RETURNED due to possibility of contamination. |
Equipment Returns: | Returns will be accepted on damaged equipment, that is shipped by Gen-Serv vehicles and cannot be repaired per approval by manufacturer. Notice of damaged equipment must be received within 24 hours. Damaged equipment shipped directly to you the customer by common carrier is your responsibility. Prior to receiving equipment you must check for damage by the freight company and report any damage directly to freight carrier. No returns are allowed on equipment used after purchase. Gen Serv reserves the right to either repair or replace any equipment reported to be damaged. Used Equipment sold (AS IS) cannot be returned. Gen Serv does not accept used equipment as a trade in for new. Gen Serv will accept used equipment for sale on consignment. This policy is contingent on stock of existing used equipment. |
Special Promotions and Sales: | All items sold during sales promotions are non-refundable and non-returnable. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. |
Equipment Service Calls: | All on location service calls will be scheduled in the order they were received. Equipment that is being picked up for repair to avoid a travel charge will be picked up and returned during normal deliveries in that geographic area. Service will be scheduled within 48 hours after a service call has been requested. Failure of the customer to cancel a service call that has been scheduled before the technician has been dispatched will incur normal travel charges to that facility. Scheduling may vary according to location, type of repair, availability of required parts and weather conditions, if applicable. If there is a discrepancy in the billing, or a question about service completed, it is the responsibility of the customer to notify Gen Serv within 48 hours of receipt of invoice. A minimum of one hour labor will be charged for repairs under that time limit. All prices are subject to change without notice. |
Warranty Repairs: | All repairs done under Warranty will be billed to the customer. Gen Serv will submit a warranty claim to the manufacturer for verification and payment. The manufacturer will then issue a credit to us after approving a warranty claim or a notice denying the claim with explanation. When a credit is received from the Manufacturer, Gen Serv will issue a credit to you in the same amount. In the event a warranty claim is denied Gen Serv will issue a copy of the denial with explanation from the manufacturer. Any outstanding balance from the repair will become the responsibility of the customer. No items are to be deducted from a bill even if it is put through for warranty. All bills are the responsibility of the customer, including bills pending warranty verification. If there is a discrepancy in the billing, or a question as to what is covered by warranty, it is the responsibility of the customer to notify Gen Serv within 48 hours of receipt of invoice or rejection of warranty claim. After 48 hours the bill is due and payable as invoiced. |
Account Billing & Payment Terms: | To set up an account, a credit application will be provided. All information must be filled in or the application will be denied. A letter will be sent informing you of approval or denial of credit and the credit limit placed on your account. Any orders placed before approval of a credit application will be on a COD basis. Accounts will be reviewed periodically and credit limits changed accordingly to customer needs and payment history. Our terms are net 30 days. A statement will be sent on a monthly basis. Invoices outstanding after 45 days will cause an account to be placed on credit hold. If you experience a problem regarding payment, please notify us so a payment schedule may be arranged. Term Exceptions: Hospitals, Government Facilities and School systems will be given payment terms based upon Accounting Processes. Outstanding Invoices 15 days after due date, will cause an account to be placed on credit hold. If a purchase order is required for products or repair service, the PO number must be given at the time of the order or service call. No orders will be delivered, nor any repair service done, unless we have a Purchase Order number to prevent accounting problems at a later time.
